Discussion “Art Therapy During the War: Displaced Cultural Spaces of Donbas” took place on May 20, 2017 at the 7th International Book Festival at Mystetskiy Arsenal, Kyiv, Ukraine.
The discussion was initiated by the presentation of the new book “Donbas: the First Line” which gathered reflections of writers, poets, artists, and sociologists on their experience of forced displacement and adaptation, the role of art in theirs and communities’ lives, as well as the academic research results on internally displaced people in Ukraine.
The latter were presented by this project’s team members Prof. Oksana Mikheieva (Ukrainian Catholic University, Lviv) and Dr. Svitlana Babenko (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv).
